The Heart Behind the Flame

The human eye is drawn to light. It gives us a sense of direction and can draw people together. Shine & Love dedicates a good portion of profits to restoring the children’s lives in India by partnering with Angel House. When I discovered Angel House, my heart was immediately captivated by all the good this non-profit organization is doing for homeless children in India.

One-by-one, Shine & Love candles are furthering the mission to give vulnerable children a safe home, food, clothes, education, and much more. We are currently focusing on building our 2nd home for 25 children. Our first home for 12 boys was built in Raebareli, India - November 2024!!! Woohoo, God is so gracious and good ❤️

The dream is to make a real difference in my home first, then community and thousands of miles away by being a small part of shining God's love & light to a broken world.

SUMMER 2001 - I volunteered with Buckner International at a Romanian summer camp for orphans with special needs. It was here when God planted the first seed, inviting me to be apart of his plan, a journey of caring for the invisible and overlook.

I'm beyond grateful for God's grace in my life to be able to testify about his great love and have the opportunity to share it with others in multiple ways.

MANY OF THE ORPHANS BELONG TO SOCIAL AND CULTURAL OR RELIGIOUS MINORITIES THAT LIVE THROUGHOUT THE 550,000 VILLAGES IN RURAL INDIA.
